Florian Engelhardt obtained a diploma in church music in Freiburg/Breisgau. He subsequently was appointed choirmaster and organist of the Christuskirche in Bad Krozingen. Mr. Engelhardt received his vocal training from Kurt Widmer, Stefan Haselhoff, Martin Snell and Alfred Muff. He then worked with several prestigious ensembles under the direction of Hermann Max, Sir Simon Rattle and Claudio Abbado. Florian Engelhardt sang as a bass-soloist in Tonhalle Zürich, KKL Luzern, Konzerthaus Freiburg/Breisgau, Pocket Opera Zürich and at the Origen Festival in Savognin. From 2013 to 2015 Florian Engelhardt studied orchestra conducting with wan Wassilevski at Hochschule der Künste Zürich. He attended conducting masterclasses with Prof. Georg Christoph Sandmann. Florian Engelhardt is director of the Margarethen-Kantorei Binningen-Bottmingen.
